General Information

Red Rocks Concert Tickets are in high demand, but Denverticket.com has a full complement of seating options at competitive pricing. Further information about parking, access for disabled patrons, and shuttle details can be found in the ADA-Approved Access section below.

ADA-Approved Access

Parking: Red Rocks Amphitheatre welcomes all patrons regardless of disability or special needs, and the venue's guidelines reflect this policy. Accessible seating options for Red Rocks concerts are available at the time of purchase, along with companion seating to accommodate up to three additional people in the party so everyone can sit together. These tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and will be released when all non-accessible ticket have been sold. Denvertickets.com often has access to hard-to-find ticket options beyond what the venue currently has in stock. If you're looking for the best selection of both accessible and non-accessible seating to satisfy small parties and large groups alike, contact Denvertickets.com and enjoy friendly service covered by a comprehensive buyer's guarantee.

Accessible parking is available in two separate spots depending on the location of ticketed seating. Patrons seated in the top portion of the amphitheatre will enter via Row 70 and park in the Top Circle Lot. Patrons in accessible seating in the lower portion of the amphitheatre will enter via Row 1 and park in the Upper South Lot. Both lots offer disabled parking spots that require appropriate placards or license plates to be displayed by the vehicle while parked in those designated spots.

Guests who prefer to be dropped off and/or picked up rather than walking from the lot may have their drivers do so at the Top Circle or Upper South Lot doors (again, depending on seating location). In a further effort to assist in the transportation of guests with mobility or other accessibility issues, there are also shuttles running during events to transport attendees from the Upper South Parking Lot to the first row entrance to the amphitheatre, which has ramped access. Shuttles will begin running 30 minutes prior to the event-specific door time provided by the venue and end once all patrons in need of the shuttle service have been transported back to their vehicles.

Restrooms: Accessible restrooms are located at the bottom of the amphitheatre in two areas: next to the First Aid Station and via the family restroom situated near the North Concession Stand. Guests holding Red Rocks tickets with seating in the top portion of the amphitheatre may use the accessible restrooms near Row 70 or inside the Visitor Center.

Service Animals: Service Animals are permitted but must be under the control of owner at all times.

Visiting the Denver Area

Given this stunning venue's universal allure, it's no surprise that people come from all over the world just to see their favorite acts take advantage of the amphitheatre's natural acoustics. While most itineraries will take advantage of the many events on the Red Rocks schedule, that still leaves plenty of time during the day to experience the many appealing attractions the area has to offer.

What to Do

While much of your Red Rocks schedule will no doubt be dedicated to taking in some of the best acts currently on tour, you may need some advice on how to fill in the pre-concert hours. The Denver area is full of family-friendly attractions as well as plenty of adventure-filled ideas for older travelers, too.

The Buffalo Bill Memorial Museum offers visitors a unique look at one of the biggest names in western lore. William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody was buried here by request, and now his grave serves both as a memorial and a sort of lookout over the vast Great Plains and the Rockies he loved so much.

Families with inquisitive youngsters (or older Paleo-enthusiasts) will get a kick out of the interactive exhibits at Dinosaur Ridge. Located just down the street from Red Rock Amphitheatre, this all-ages fun house includes a simulated dinosaur dig, a Trek Through Time exhibit, and gifts and snacks perfectly themed for the venue.

Adults only! Sample a taste of Rock Mountain tradition at the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado. A 30-minute self-paced tour takes guests through the entire brewing process, ending with a sample of Coors' best and brightest brews. All in all, a refreshing way to start – or end – your trip to Colorado.

Where to Stay

Many people like to make their trip to Red Rocks Amphitheatre a multi-day experience; luckily, there are numerous options for accommodations within a reasonable distance of the venue.

Courtyard by Marriott has an outpost in nearby Golden, Colorado. This mid-scale option gives guests a comfortable place to sleep while keeping enough extra funds to splash out on some concert memorabilia.

Travelers looking for more apartment-like accommodations will enjoy the TownPlace Suites by Marriott in Lakewood, Colorado. Each room in this all-suite extended-stay hotel comes equipped with a kitchenette, perfect for groups who'd like to do a little cooking before or after their show, but never fear – if cooking isn't your thing, you can still start your day off fortified thanks to the hotel's free continental breakfast.

If you want to splash out on truly stellar accommodations, book into the Four Seasons Denver. The Four Seasons name has long been synonymous with luxury, and this location is no exception. From fitness facilities to an on-site wedding venue to beautifully appointed rooms fit for royalty, this hotel has a little bit of everything.

Camping and Red Rocks go hand in hand, as many concertgoers can attest to. Guests looking to camp can contact the local campgrounds recommended by Red Rock that is listed on the website.

Where to Eat

There is a wide variety of food and beverages available at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and guests attending Red Rocks concerts may also bring in a soft-sided cooler or cloth bag containing their own treats as long as the bag fits under their seat during the event. There are restrictions to what's allowed – namely no alcoholic beverages, hard-sided coolers, or glass bottles – but the complete list is available via the Red Rock visitors FAQ. Otherwise, the following eateries are great options for pre- or post-concert dining.

The Mill Street Deli might not have a website, but their Yelp reviews don't lie. Locals love this place for its awesome renditions of classic food like burgers, BLTs, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. The beer is plentiful – as are drink and food specials – and if recommendations are anything to go by, no one should pass up the green chilies.

Red Rocks Grill in downtown Morrison offers Tex-Mex twists on typical grill favorites, giving each dish a huge dose of flavor. The Cajun Chicken Salad takes greens from boring and bland to fiery and delicious, and the tamales smothered in pork chili will give you all the energy you need to dance the night away.

BESO de Arte's surroundings are steeped in historical significance; the building that houses BESO dates back to 1873, and much of the original architectural details remain intact. The eatery's name roughly translates to "Kiss of Art," and each plate displays the artistry the restaurant's name suggest. Try not to fill up on the house made white corn chips and fresh tomato salsa, because you'll want plenty of room to enjoy delicacies like Roasted Pumpkin Soup with goat cheese and mango salsa, Garlicky Green Lip Mussels sautéed in Spanish Albarino wine, and Stuffed Roasted Poblano Peppers overflowing with juicy pork carnitas and garnished with a smoky red chile sauce.
